The first edition of In Vivo’s “Rising Leaders” focuses the spotlight on 30 rising life sciences leaders from around the world.

The list is focused on talented entrepreneurs and innovators with strong leadership qualities who represent the next wave of creativity in the health care sector. It includes scientists, academics, rising employees in large biopharma and MedTech business and CEO’s of small companies or startups.

Laura Soucek was ranked among the 30 rising leaders in Life Sciences. Laura is co-founder and CEO of Peptomyc, and she also leads the Mouse Models of Cancer Therapies Group at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), Barcelona, Spain. She is a leading figure in the Myc field, and designed Omomyc, a dominant-negative Myc inhibitor that shows therapeutic promise in a variety of cancer types.
